This is me:I'm a simple girl. I wear black and white most of the time. I have black shirts in every design and fabric. It goes great with jeans! I love God and I love life. Lunch with friends, walking the dog, dancing, music, vacations with my family, and people make me happy. Hanging out with my husband and eating at Costco makes me happy. I'm a little feisty, laugh a lot, and don't take myself too seriously...this is me!
Life, photography, and everything in between is all about moments to me. Capturing a moment that tells a story is my reward and is why I love shooting pictures. Instead of freaking out about the perfect composition, light, and exposure...I will take the story of the moment any day. Genuine smiles, laughs, tears, gestures...that is what I am searching for. When a pregnant mom looks at her portrait and remembers her baby kick and tears come into her eyes...that is my reward. These fleeting moments in every stage of a person, family or child's life is precious. Photography makes it possible to freeze those moments...documenting the story. That story is why I shoot. That is my reward!
